LaNell

Singer, Songwriter, Actress, Minister of the Gospel

Minister LaNell Rice-Rollins (“LaNell”) gained national recognition when she performed at the 3rd Annual International Gospel Industry Retreat in Las Vegas (NV), as well as the Bobby Jones East-Coast Gospel Explosion held at Disney World's Epcot Center in 1999. LaNell's Epcot performance was showcased on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel and the response from viewers across the country was great! Following her national debut, LaNell performed at Gospel Superfest 2000 in Louisville (KY) with a host of other national artists including Dottie Peoples, Mary Mary, James Bignon & Deliverance, Mighty Clouds of Joy, and others. This was followed by a phenomenal performance at Big Bethel's Millennium Celebration, multiple performances in Germany (Manheim, Ramstein, and Longstuhl), participation in Atlanta's Sweet Auburn Festival, the Golden Drum Awards, and the Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards. LaNell has also done 300+ performances in 4 stage plays.

LaNell is the daughter of the late Clarence and Christine Rice of Anderson, South Carolina. The youngest of 5 siblings, LaNell grew up singing in the church and her family's group (The Rice Sisters) before the age of 5. LaNell is married to Leroy Rollins and continues to call Anderson home.
