Carlos Nelson co-founder of Pegasus Aircraft Maintenance, saw a business opportunity in Anchorage and cashed in his retirement accounts and life savings to start Pegasus.
In 2007, Pegasus Aircraft Maintenance was named Alaska Small Business of the Year. And in just nine years, Pegasus rapidly expanded from a startup to $11 million in revenues, and now handles more than 80 percent of the 250 weekly air cargo stops in Anchorage.
He and his business partner sold a multi-million dollar business they built from scratch to, a subsidiary of NANA Development Corp., an Alaska Native firm that generates more than $1 billion in revenue annually in Alaska and around the globe. Lorraine B. Edwards is the Founder & President of The Zhana Corporation (doing business as Zhana Records and Zhana Publishing Company). She is a native of Johnston, South Carolina, and alumnus of Johnson C. Smith University and the University of Phoenix - School of Advanced Studies. Lorraine is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration, has an MBA in Marketing, Bachelors in Computer Science, 15 years of progressive IT management experience, and 10+ years owning and operating a business. Lorraine is a former Chief Architect at AT&T with vast experience analyzing complex business problems and directing large-scale, multimillion-dollar projects.
Lorraine successfully launched a Gospel Record Label in 2000 and helped two other startups during the past 10 years including N2 Broadband, Inc. (a high-tech startup sold in 5 years for $120M), and Langley Associates (now Omni Global Music Network). Lorraine is adept at developing business plans, performing market research and competitive analyses, defining product offerings and pricing strategies, developing strategic partnerships, and managing customer relations.
Kelli has traveled all over the world and worked in Africa and the UK prior to settling down in Atlanta. While enjoying a stellar career as a member of the executive team for some of the largest media companies in the world, she always dreamed of running her own company.
Her experience working alongside John Travolta, Rod Stewart, Maurice White, Lionel Richie and others she developed a passion for entertainment, and while studying at Los Angeles Theatre Academy and Ancestors and Sons at California State University she started developing her production skills.
She perfected the art of building brand awareness through entertainment and artist endorsements. Her affiliation with some of the largest entertainment and media companies, talent agencies, artist management companies, record labels, film producers, tour managers, and distributors allow her to secure the biggest names in the business to support causes and enhance product visibility.

James Bignon is best known for his Grammy/Stellar Nominated and Billboard Gospel Chart hit recordings “On The Other Side Of Through”, “God Is Great”, “What A Mighty God We Serve”, “Miracle”, “He Made The Difference” and others. He made a name for himself in the Gospel music industry as the Director of Music for the world-renowned Georgia Mass Choir.
Besides his headlining albums, Bignon has worked with the Gospel Music Workshop of America Mass Choir writing and recording such as “He’ll Make Everything Alright” (1991), re-recording one of Rev. Cleveland’s greatest hits: “Lord Help Me To Hold Out” (1992), and again by writing and recorded “God Knows How Much You Can Bare” for a 1993 GMWA project.
James Bignon also worked behind the scenes training choirs for one of the leading Gospel record labels of the 70’s and 80’s, Savoy Records. James led the 10 member ensemble of the original cast of “Riverdance” performing 125 shows to a sold out audience each time. He and the ensemble toured the United States, UK, Ireland, and Japan.
